Well packaged and happy there was no polystyrene. The seat looked smart, but I was surprised it was in 2 pieces – seat and back. Once I realised the parts clipped together, the design seemed smart. Not as easy as our usual Isofix seat, which has 2 bars that adjust at the same time on a sub frame. On this one each bar works independently, which makes it more tricky to fit. We have a Volkswagen Passat Estate. It took less than 5 minutes to fit in car. I was very happy this was an ISO fix attachment, as this attaches securely to the car. Having an amazing 10 headrest positions was very useful as it meant we could use the seat for both girls by adapting it accordingly. It’s easy to adjust for when others are in the car. Both girls said it was really comfy. We didn’t need to take the side cushions out, so they benefitted from the extra cushioning. We used this car seat for Poppy and sister Lily aged 8 years who said the car seat was very comfortable and she was happy in it. It was very useful to have a cup holder. We have tried having an organiser on the seat in front, but the kids can’t reach it when travelling. This meant their drink was in reaching distance and kept upright. We used the Isofix attachments and found this very effective. Definitely beneficial to be able to remove and wash covers. Previously we have had to wash seats lots due to the eldest often being travel sick. This was easy to remove and fit again in another car using the Isofix. However, the buttons to release were tricky to press as they are recessed in and are under the seat. We used this car seat 2 – 3 times per week. Poppy loved how soft and comfy it was and Lily loved how soft it was and was comfortable everywhere. I liked the fact it is Isofix and is comfortable for the kids. Made well, doesn’t feel like it will fall to bits and seems strong. Seems a good price compared to other seats on the market.
I was very impressed, it looked well built. It is a very sleek design and the leather look makes it feel very expensive. It was pretty easy to use the isofix to fit into the car. I have a Toyota. It too less than 5 minutes to fit in car. I was confident once fitted this was safe. The isofix indicators showed green making me confident in the fit. Although I have only used the lowest settings I can see that there is a variety of settings that can be used in the future. My daughter found the seat very comfortable for both long and short journeys. I didn’t remove the cushions as I didn’t realize that this was an option but I will look further at this as my daughter grows. This car seat was only used for my daughter. My daughter liked that her drink was close to hand, and being able to swap sides meant that it didn’t interfere with the door. I used the isofix connectors and the only improvement that could be made would that they would be easier to use if they worked as a pair when moving rather than individually. I haven’t needed to remove he covers, but being washable is vital with children! I didn’t swap it between cars but imagine that it would be very easy. When I needed to remove from my own vehicle it was very quick and easy. This car seat would be used a couple of times each day. My daughter liked the design and that there was somewhere to put her drink or toys. I liked how easy it was to use and looks very smart with the leather look. Quality is very good as it appears to be very sturdy and robust. It is excellent value for money as it lasts such a long time and is better value than many options on the market. I would recommend as can be used easily between vehicles and for multiple ages of children. This was an excellent seat which was easy to fit as well as being lightweight. I liked that it could be split into 2 which would make it easy to transport and would be good for travelling. It is a smart and durable seat which can last for a long time for a good price.
